The Best CCW Holster

Choosing The Best CCW Holster depends a lot on your preferred method of carry and personal preference.

A holster that works best for on-the-hip carry may not work best for appendix carry.  Likewise, a holster’s styling that may be appealing to me, could be unappealing to you.

Safety, however, should be the most important feature when choosing The Best CCW holster.  This is the reason I will only recommend holster that are made from Kydex and also cover the magazine release button on your CCW.

For more information on the reasons I chose the following holster to be The Best CCW holster, please sign up for my free guide, “Why – The Best CCW Holster.”

Eclipse Holsters offers a range of colors and prints that allow you to make it your own.  My favorite feature is their colored aluminum washers that highlight their print designs.  I also like the design of their “Wing,” which nicely tucks the handle of your CCW into your abdomen increasing it’s conceal-ability.

Eclipse Holsters are priced in the $75.00 range.

Ok, I know I said that you should only buy Kydex holster for their safety, but hear me out.  Soft holsters can be dangerous because they may allow access to your CCW’s trigger without having to un-holster it.

However, there is a best use case for this type of holster.  I will personally only use this type of holster with a small revolver.  This Sticky pocket holster comes in handy when I am doing chores around the house.  I can place my CCW in my back or front pocket and have the comfort and flexibility I need to do my tasks without having to do them unarmed.

The Stick pocket holster is great for revolvers and CCW pistols that have a manual safety engaged.

Sticky holsters are priced in the $30.00 range.

2nd Amendment

If you’re a CCW holder or looking to become one, you must love the 2nd Amendment.  If so, you should you should deeply consider becoming a member of a 2nd Amendment rights organization.  Helping these organizations quash unconstitutional laws goes a long way to insuring you won’t have to represent yourself in court for an unavoidable self defense event.

Here’s the one I suggest.

California Rifle And Pistol Association
CRPA

Even if you do not live in California, you should still become a member of the CRPA.  What starts in California spreads to the rest of the country.
